This is a seismic shift in corporate culture. If you guys can't tell that by now... They are going to push people who get "too much" compensation out. They are going to out source everything they can. For example the maintenance people are going to be let go and they will just pay a company to bring in their own people. The sandwich guy at all the stores is toast; that's why they are becoming investors in Mendocino Farms. The old cashiers will be fired after the high season and after the new wave of cashiers has been trained. They will put in self-checkouts too. Then when the holidays are done they will do the same thing they did to the signmakers: "eliminate" the position and make 2 or 3 fight for one position. If the whole foods employees (please let's stop using that totally sappy and bullshit terminology they made up; "team members" you have to be f***ing kidding me; Store Team Leader??? Get real. Store MANAGER - s/he is part of MANAGEMENT and wants to squeeze LABOR; that is YOU) don't get organized this is going to be a bloodbath until the company basically is turned into Wallmart Jr.

The bonus aren't set. It all performanced based. I honestly don't see an issue in that. If the store isn't doing well they don't get anything.
that annoying language they use around wholefoods has always made me want to vomit...they are managers who get a bonus that we dont recieve as team members..where did they learn this viral language??? wall street..i remember sitting in on a team leader meeting where an astl was explaining the wall street notion of "basis points" to the group....yep...wall street got in their heads real good after that green co. bought that 17% to bail us out in 2008..
