Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Back to the good old days of big pay raises, big bonuses, plenty of jobs to chose from. Vote for the guy that will sell the most smart phones.

Getting rid of the estate tax on estates over $10M married and tax cut for billionaires won't sell a single extra phone or tablet. ---- Bernie Sanders plan to refinance student loans for 0%, the same rate the banks get to borrow. Every young person will upgrade their old phones. Plus raising minimum wage will get millions more to buy new smart phones. Basic common sense.

General unemployment is very low. House prices have doubled from the 2009 lows.

Obama annual deficit is lower than BUshes, now that we are getting out of the Bush recession.

How can you say the economy is strong? Have you seen the debt? They have to raise the ceiling to prevent more crisis. It's like saying all my bills are paid with 0 dollars in the bank account which includes 10 credit cards which are maxed out along with mortgage and other bills. One more incident and all hell is gonna break loose. That is the state of the country now.

Things were much worse at the end of GW Bush. Economy is actually pretty strong now. Most laid off engineers and techs can get another job now. In 2008 (last year of BUsh), if you got laid off, nobody was hiring, every company was laying off.

OP is correct. Trump won't buy another smart phone if we give him a 10 billion dollar tax break. He already has the latest, most expensive model.

Republicans are in charge of congress when risky loans were put in law. Clinton had to sign it to prevent a government sequester shutdown. No choice since republican congress passed it.

Democrats are ruining this country. Clinton administration was major player in the rise of the big banks by pushing them to approve high risk loans which caused the financial collapse of 2008. Big banks will always be safe since Feds will always back then. This has to stop.
