Just going to do what I can AND no I am not going to go so faster. I was already working damn hard am not going to injure myself over this companies lack of thinking this through getting rid of workers BEFORE the holidays. Stupid! It's just not worth it. Also, I will be taking my breaks ALL of them and If customers are standing at my counter someone can come and help me or the customer will have to wait that's just the way it is when you don't have enough help and No I am not sorry it is not my fault.

Welcome to Whole-Mart customers and if you don't like it please please do fill out a customer complaint.

I was a survivor of a layoff once. It felt terrible to see my friends lose their jobs. There are many articles about Survivor's Guilt on the internet that really helped me. I was left with the jobs of three people and left the business about two years later.

I was called into a meeting today. I was given an action plan with a laundry list of random complaints from fellow team members on my teamthat I need to correct or I will be written up and it was suggested that I could step down as team educator. Ugh! I should be sleeping.

My stomach has been messed up and I've been having weird nightmares. They're expecting me to do all sorts of things that aren't in my job description, because we're obviously short now, and I'm really trying to stay upbeat for my own sake and the sake of the people I work with, but WFM is making it very difficult to do that.

Guests definitely notice the changes, too. I've had more than one complaint, in the past few days, aimed at how WFM is handling certain items now, which items are disappearing, and which are being shifted to different departments. Items are moving around so much that guests can't even keep track anymore and, combined with the TMs new lack of enthusiasm, guests are expressing to me their feelings that service is suffering. Team member happiness and excellence? It's hard to be excellent when your happiness is nonexistent.

Morale is way down. I went to a store where people don't know me and the produce guys were just loafing and talking and when customers approached them there was zero to no interest in helping there. Whereas usually the guys take you right to where the item should be.

Yes. It has been hard to relax and just do my work. One day, a Co worker asked me if I was angry. I told her I was "focussing". Yesterday I felt like I regained my equilibrium. I have accepted what is going on and have set up my resources in case I get laid off.
