I wonder what Intel's winning chance is in 5G, looking at how they've executed in their 4G program.
Same here, I heard Intel will be here in January 2016
I was told they are going to have a large hiring fair in SD in January targeting Q employees.
Anyone working on the Apple 5G modem team will be validating the 5G modem from another vendor. Without a 4G modem of there own, they cannot make the transition from 4G to 5G. Intel bought there way into the previous generation transition. Apple has not done so with this generation.
They will have layoffs more frequently than Q. Think twice about Intel. Creepy culture.
Inquiries about my application indicate Intel seems to be hiring primarily in OR, but a few in SC, or near Sacto. Not sure if they concentrate on 5G; most calls have been for "firmware" positions. Apple has slowed, but if they want your skills, they will hire you.
Why don't you head over to the Intel or Apple board and ask? Do you think you will get honest answers here or you that same dipshit with nothing better to do than posting these stupid questions.
I am also interested to know the answer. Does apple has a significant 5G research efforts? Are Intels 5G efforts concentrated in Santa Clara? or in Oregon?
