I heard the third round of our layoffs starts in March. What have other people heard?

The ratings are arbitrary. The supervisor told me point blank he no longer wanted me as a employee and he would continue doling out the low ratings with or without justification. The upper management was completely unaware of the situation. HR noted the situation but also noted a lateral move in six month to another business unit. All in all the company is rather corrupt.
The employees rated 4 are employees that have squeaked by for many years and supervisors that allowed it to happen. Current supervision in this company needs gutted. Too many good ole boy situations and too many family and friends that get special treatment and consideration.
Maybe those rated 4 are just college kids with low pay?
There are currently people rated with 4 still emplpoyed. This company sucks!
Whether they are in march or some other time, you will know you are in danger if you are rated a 3 - "Meets Expectations" at the end of this year. It means you are next to go.
No 60 per barrel in sight. Give it 9 months that's is of course the Russians and Saudis decide to cut production, not to mention Iran.
Based on some of the waste-of-space managers/VPs that are still left in Houston and most BU's (especially people that just changed from manager to chief titles like HSE), COP still has a lot more fat they could easily cut.
The price of oil and the banks and merger aka, the price of oil increase to at least $60 per barrel.
