I hate going to work now. It is both depressing and infuriating, and it's hard to fake a smile and give a sh*t.

I visited a Sam's the other day and just engaged one of their cashiers. He was happy with what he was doing there. Full time, close to 40 hours, reasonably priced benefits, competitive pay. It's one of their better stores so there's not all the "Walmart People" you see pictures of. LOL. Also, my partner met someone on the greenway who works at TJs... He also likes his job and enjoys doing different things because at TJs you don't just do one thing all the time. Neither one had ever experienced a layoff of any kind. I'd rather work for TJs if I had to choose but overall in retail you know the pay isn't going to set the world on fire so you better be happy with the overall situation.
Walmart has better morale than we do.
It's miserable. One of the worst places to work.
who appreciates this job anymore?? they cant sell that "new opportunities at new stores" crap because they just downsized all the positions and cut your labor so you are gonna be doing more for the same money???how many pt.20 team members do you have to go through before some decide to stay on?? i heard in my region that the background checks, paperwork processing, training and classes cost 3700$ per new hire....hmmmmmmmmm
Lol saving labor. We were missing two and a half people last period and we got like ten bucks in gain sharing. Meanwhile entire sections of the store go empty or collect dust. Looking forward to the holidays.
ooohhh anonymous181657...you trolling for the rich and famous??
I have not taken a break since e layoffs. When I've asked they make us feel like we don't deserve our LEGAL breaks because there is so much to do working those TM laid off duties on top of mine. Customers mention every day that we are slipping, some I know will never return.
Then leave
remember to tell your customers the price changes reflect the whims of the idle rich on wall street.....lol...
