Reducing your customer defection rate by 5% can increase your profitability by 25 to 125%. (source). The reverse is also true.

Wholefoods just lost 1.5% of its customers though I feel that number was a pure PR fake percentage.

The next round of cuts will be coming in January. They are going to lose a lot more customers soon.

i think that number was higher also...when you calculate all the team members fired who were on final write ups its probably more like 2.5%..at least..
