My manager is finally back from the "Strategy Meeting." Voluntary Layoffs are happening. The email will be sent out tomorrow to those who are eligible. She wouldn't reveal any details about potential packages for those willing to volunteer. Couldn't say how many of which college need to go, but it sounds like everyone will be losing some.

Most of the money will be designated for executive and management to pay them off.. Just like they've done in the past. ER's will get minimal amounts and sent packing.
IF they lay off in December (and this will happen) - you will get 0 weeks severance. This is how Corinthian went down. It was two weeks for every year of service, 51 weeks max, then the max went down to 26, then 8 weeks, then it was 1 week for year of service, 8 weeks max, them it was 4 weeks max, and then it was 0 weeks and no severance. OK, since we are imploding and will not be in business by next Fall, you might want to do your moves now
