Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

ePMP

Why does this pmp software suck? It now takes 3x longer to do. Brilliant cost savings.

There are no kickbacks to CBRES or ITC if you use off the shelf software like Outlook.

Anon 674 is spot on. The new ePMP is purposely designed to create employment for IT, specifically their contractors. Where do you think the revenue is going?

The new meeting room scheduler is a pos. Why couldn't they just standardize the outlook meeting room names and have better instruction and guidelines for using outlook. I found outlook to be very useful and quick, less mouse clicks and better visibility.

Can anyone state the purpose of the new ePMP? Cost savings, time savings?

The ePMP is truly a POS, as is the whole phony PMP process. Maybe you could claim that the ePMP system is giving you an RSI? Then HES could get involved and really mess things up!

It does take three times longer. It gives low-level managers and IT busy work. They look productive. Was the ePMP supposed to save money? Do Chevron managers ever ask why?

These are all made to perpetuate future support. Why would I build a product that doesn't need future maintenance billing. Contractors are savvy. Put yourself in their position. All these programs are now part of the bloated overhead. Somebody should make a list of the top 10 wrong with the company that are productivity killers from an employee perspective. Whiners need not participate (i.g. no free breakfast or lunches).

3rd Immutable Law Of The Universe,... Stability in any organization is achieved when all of the time is spent on reporting about the nothing they're doing. Thank you. Thank you. I'm here to help.
