@snarklessInSD - not angry, just pointing out the obvious when OP disses bay area, for what, SD? i did my time @ Q and am outta that place, good riddance. so I know the score and cant be bs'ed. 25% of the people there are working slave shop conditions, maybe 20% figured out how to do little to no work and game the system and rest are somewhere in between. and for what, going forward? to have salary frozen, benefits cut? poor stock performance. most people aren't learning new skills and for many, at worst, doing integration. if thats your idea of a good job, well, the world needs QC ditch diggers too, for G and A and everyone else to make the real money off of.

@Anonymous184608, oh so angry and snarky! "But hey" is textbook youtube comment section snark. So your points about cities devolves into comparison of stock gains?
oh yea, those skanky, narcissistic, herpes infested PB ladies are the best. oh yea, that stucco covered crap shack with mandatory HOAs and maybe mello roos, the weather is same, traffic sucks everywhere, buy hey working at Q makes up for it all. gimme a break. only people that cant hack it in the bay area move to SD. If you joined Q 5 years ago, stock was about 50 now 60. If you joined Google 5 years ago stock stock was 300 now 700. Again, if you can't cut it, stay at Q. If you have the balls to move on and live in a better place, its obvious, but hey, continue to live with your head in the sand - you'll fit right in there with Q management.
SF has some of the best shipping containers to live in though. Not even $2k a month. Plenty of money leftover to eat disgusting burritos in the Mission
weather, housing, women, traffic, surf -- all these are better in SD;
I know of more people that have moved from sd to Bay Area than Bay Area to sd. Having lived in both I can tell you that bay is way better in virtually every way.
Did u take your medication today? Or are u an intern?
Dear Internet Diary, here are my random thoughts of the day that nobody is interested in. Today I compared San Diego to the Bay Area...
such a garbage post
SD is a great place to retire. But the job market is poor, esp tech these days.
"Yep, I live Qcom SD" --- Your grammar is not so good. Where are you from?
OP is from HR
It used to be a great place to work. Not anymore. Look at the atmosphere, the review process, the way people are treated.... you still think it is a good place to work?
Not trolling. The reason some people are bitter is precisely because they regret losing something as awesome as a job @ Q.
is that trolling or just writing to your internet diary?
