Those idiots that spent and lived above their means on credit fumes get their asses kicked, while those that lived within their means do just fine. It's how things work. Call it financial darwinism.

I'm recently divorced... Did not live on more than salary and bonus except for buying homes...now....hopefully will not need to move children and change their life....no appeciation for those giving time or attention.
