I just left asset protection. After the new year don't be surprised seeing the apa managers being laid off. They are looking at apa associates to do internal investigations and doing more apa manager duties. The I bet they'll expect them to still do it at minimum wage. What a joke.

I was laid off from Sears due to re-leveling of the store. Word has gotten around town that asset protection is no longer in the store and they are being hit left and right! The associates don't care anymore to offer "special" customer assistance to anyone they think may be shoplifting.
Early this month. Yes don't forget they need to drive profitable sales. They have lost it. Asset protection does not make the money unless it's from civil recovery which I believe that is how the district managers get their bonuses.
