Im guessing this will be the new norm for thanksgiving week. Tues leadership ordered Chinese food with soda ( msg prob in it } Wednesday pizza with soda. No more Traditional thanksgiving lunch, no breakfast , at the same time we are told to smile, work hard. our stl is korean her name is jinah kim

I don't care about a free lunch, I just want to be treated like a human being. Is that too much to ask?
I think it is important to provide some sort of appreciation for TMs during the holidays. TMs give up being with friends and family and put their energy into making the holidays special for our guests. Having a special meal goes along way for morale during this busy time.

Koreans tend to be ultra cheap, that is good for business. Can suck for your refined taste but ultimately it is good for controlling costs
Entitlement at its finest . The lunches and extras during the holidays are never a given.Just a nice perk.Does not happen at mist competitors.This kind if behavior and comment goes to show that perhaps Whole Foods did spoil you and make you whiny and soft .
Catered lunches arent a given. Get over it. I never ate the catered crap anyway (nothing vegan, surprise surprise). That kind of complaint is what we call ENTITLEMENT.
And what does the STLs race have to do with anything?

Um....I work at a store that used to cater lunch for us. This year it was no lunch and a few out of date items and some cookies and coffee, so I share the frustration of feeling that the changes are not so fun. Complaining about a catered lunch and then calling out the STL race is inappropriate and borderline racist. I didn't say they couldn't say it-by all means vent away. Just because you're venting doesn't give you the right to be racist, in my opinion.
There are some good STL S out there. We has breakfast, lunch, and dinner catered Mon Tues and Wed this week.
My old STL called TMs "entitled" during TM Appreciation Week. He said there wouldn't be any food because they had blown their budget the year before, because there were a lot of leftovers and it was messy. He then threatened to lock everyone out of the break room. So instead of taking responsibility for spending too much on food no one wanted or setting up a system to maintain the free food those days, and no one bothered to ask what food people want, he acted like our dad and threatened to shame us. I'm so glad I left.
Walter Robin Hood and others let people say what they want. After the "gag" order we have all been under, and made to feel there was something wrong with us because we had an opinion, let freedom ring! I say let it all hang out! I had a TM that was so quiet I finally spoke with her and found out that she would go home crying and thought it was her. Isn't that how cults are run? Making one think there is something wrong with them? So let people vent a little and move on. I was one of the 1500 and i am not bitter or disgruntled. I knew something was wrong all along. Yes, sometimes I thought it was me too but when people open up a bit you learn that you are not alone. Everyone has been texted me today and wish they had gotten the ax too! Hey come on folks do we have to have go into a witness protection program for being HUMAN!? OK, that's my 2 cents on this. And by the way, I liked Walter Robb, but he needs to take a good look at this!
