There are 10,000,000 unemployed people in the US. The 250,000 oilfield layoffs didn't even increase the unemployment rate by .25%
Look around, there are a lot of jobs that could be replaced by computers and then those people could go get better jobs. The oilfield doesn't lead innovation it's holding it back.
