Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Lowly people from Qualcomm?

From the posts, it seems that either some people are trying to make Qualcomm look bad or there are/ were some real serious psycho-maniacs working among us. By the way, if you want to say "f**k you", I won't be able to accede to you request, and - nope, I am not impressive with your limited vocabulary. You are going to continue your life with this manner of lowly existence, I feel sorry for you. Frankly speaking, I am not here to mock at you, I really want you to re-think about your own life. You can have chance. Don't put yourself so low.

I was addicted to pain killers and heroin and quit thanks to Qualcomm. I wasn't able to even get health insurance because I went to the doctor once to get put on maintenance therapy for it, and it counted as preexisting condition.

However Qualcomm health insurance is so good they didn't reject me (maybe because Obamacare was coming into play). Just my personal story and despite all the hate Q gets here, I love the company and the work and good people and good benefits. It took my mind off the drugs and probably saved my life. I have been clean now for 4 years.

To anyone addicted to any substances please go get professional help immediately. It is not a disease. It is a self destructing habit that is a symptom of a mental disorder, e.g. depression/anxiety, or more likely an unhappy, boring, lonely, unfulfilling lifestyle.

@ vBw: Another "T.W.A." In this country, it's generally considered malpractice to attempt to diagnose people over the internet.

@Anonymous | Post ID: @EH37vBw-hii, I have to admit that you are right. It's not difficult to figure out who I am. There are not many people in Qualcomm with an MD.

I really feel frightened thinking who these people really are, and they had been faking as sane and professional people around us. I am sure there are more of these psychopaths still hanging around Qualcomm which my HR friends should be looking into, but they won't, because - it's not their job and they probably can't handle it. I worry more about the families of these people. Aside most likely messing up their own lives, they should have already messed up Qualcomm, their families. Likely, they can't even handle simple sincere relationships, ending drunk, drugged and divorced. Their children will end up the same way in the same tragic vicious cycle. They can't teach the next generation what they do not understand. It reminded me of what I read from Professor Alice Miller when I was in medical school. She was so right.
