Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Hey guys! Don't worry the 365 stores are going to turn everything around!

As if competing with yourself was ever a solid plan.

The genius they've chosen to head up the 365 stores is none other than the (former)UK Regional President, Jeff Turnas who recently headed back to the U.S. after driving the UK region into the dirt and presiding over massive layoffs in the UK regional office. I think that tells us just about everything we need to know about what's going to happen with 365----

Additionally, the 365 Store concept is just embarrassing--(tatoo parlors? record stores?)---like a bunch of old hippies desperately trying to convince the younger generation they're still cool---ugh!

If there is a buyout the board members can just go over to 365 and try again.

TJ's ownership is probably ROTFL over this brilliant plan

LOL what stupid idiot thought up the 365 idea? It just says to the public "we know we are expensive, just like you all called us Whole Pay Check so I guess we better try this before it's too late!" HEY Idiots, IT"S TOO LATE BABY....you can't fool mother nature or the customers. Stop and Shop in NE has all the products WFM sells and cheaper. They have excellent organic produce too. No need to shop anywhere else in the NE. By the way Regional, we LOVE LOCAL? Really? You have screwed all the LOCAL Vendors and that's not nice.

Why are we trying to be anything else than original wf. Just stick to base and stop corruption and favoritism we will be ok.

Trader Joe's is a professionally run company, we are a far stretch from that.

The stores that we have now are incapable of making a profit, lets sink more money into the whole. Great idea!

Trader Joe's has us by the balls. Competent management, a good business plan, no propaganda, and wise use of company funds.

Oh, they aren't trying to compete with themselves but with Trader Joes! Which is competing with us. Very important distinction let me tell you.

They will never be able to compete with Trader Joe's. It's just another abject failure waiting to happen. What an embarrassment.
