OK so "someone at global" says H-E-B is the buyer.
What does that mean for us on the store level even if its not H-E-B that purchases the company?

That's just stupid...
Remember the last rumored big buyer (Publix)? I strongly suspect that idea originally emanated from someone at global. It did lift the stock for a while last year, although anyone who knows Publix immediately would know this was absurd. If anyone at global is claiming that H-E-B is a buyer, I wonder if this is not just another effort from insiders to try to bail themselves out with a juicy takeover rumor? We do know the history of a certain individual who seems keenly interested in the stock price and what people are saying about it.
