We've been their bitch for years. Why the contracts? They absolutely cripple us on so many levels.

I guarantee that people on the board of directors owned huge amounts of UNFI stock. It's the way this company works, double dealing, double talking, back stabbers. Never trust a word that they say. It's all a giant pyramid scheme, and the word is quickly, and finally getting out there.
UNFI, how come we can't get peanut butter? People are going elsewhere for it and it's embarrassing.
UNFI is the reason the company came up with that core value a few years ago. We create ongoing win-win partnerships with our suppliers. UNFI has had all kinds of wins, haven't they. They are a terrible supplier, and it is not a secret, yet we continue to support them. ?? Another ace for management.
It no accident that UNFI gets the best real estate for all their products. All the eye-to-thigh shelf space and guaranteed slotting for whatever new flavor variation they want to sell.

Agreed. UNFI gets away with so much. Mispicks galore, no accountability. Recently they left half of our Saturday grocery load off the truck. We didn't get it til Monday.
