Anyone get wind of big changes coming after January 1st?

Any corruption information by management is important....
Havent heard of any big changes yet, but manager was spouting off about big changes in the new year, hope Siemens sees the corruption and bully tatics managers use to control and hold there positions.
A glorious New Year to look forward to :) To Bigger and Better things as Siemens shuts down and rids itself of the plagued Dresser-Rand.
Ultimately probably the best move to remove them from the industry
As a Freleancer for over 40 years, seen a lot of companies sold, bought, chapter-11, merger - I know what it smells like... This one smells the same. Management will be the last to tell you anything, most of the time they dont know themselves. Regardless, do you really think Siemens isnt going to get their people in. Good Luck all!
It's pretty funny watching the good ol boys and old timers come to the realization that their beloved Dresser-Rand was bought out / taken over by Siemens.
Not a merger as so many at Dresser-Rand like to refer to it as, to try and lessen the blow to their egos.
Leading Edge shutdown will occur around the end of February.
Heard mida region is getting another makeover as well...
Looks like more and more Siemens management coming onboard within Dresser-Rand's ranks even at the lower levels.

Look for more consolidation between the two companies - like for example anything that is doubled up or similar facilities within close proximity and provide same service.
I heard some departments will be re-structured. I'm sure that will mean more layoffs. If your boss is asking you details on your job description I would update your resume!
