QC is a bullet train speeding on a track where the rails END in couple of miles. Even the driver of the bullet train got off at the last stop. This isnt going to end well. So is that any better than a speculated slow train wreck coming in SV ? I dont think so ....

@EKBfQkz-xdv thats just BS. Again, for some reason you are just a negative nellie. I dont work there anymore, but worked there for a long, long time and I can tell you, this just goes with the territory. We went through several downtimes before and came back. Things will be fine. Just relax and do your job and cheer up, its not as bad as you are making it out to be. If you want to catastrophize it, because somehow it makes you feel good, fine, but its not as bad as you think, you are just getting emotional about it and its pulling you down.

.. and the likelihood of that turnaround is less than the probability of winning the mega millions lottery. Seriously, in the business world, it is a sample size of one - apple under steve jobs.

Qualcomm is the shiny rocket train to prosperity. Many benefits and god times will come in the future. Just you wait and see them.

So who cares, really? If you work there and are concerned about this, you would either just hang on, because maybe that won't be the case, or you will bail and look for another job. I also think the place is going to crash, but really, whats the benefit of telling people this? To heck with it. They are already doing what they have decided is in their best interest and if staying is what they decided, then thats their problem (or opportunity). You never know, maybe 820 is going to be a hit, SS will find some fatal flaw with their SOC, and things will turn around for Q. Maybe the other business efforts will pan out. You just don't know, so don't be so pessimistic.

Conductors of the train have already jumped off using their golden parachutes.
