Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Would any current or former employees, students, parents, or others associated with EDMC wish to possibly contact an attorney pro bono (free)?

Would any current or former employees, students, parents, or others associated with EDMC like to potentially contact an attorney? I am here to listen. I can provide encryption-based contact information if you would like to contact me. You will be able to keep your anonymity, if you wish, for as long as you wish. I am an attorney with a heart. This is pro-bono.

I have no severance or agreement. Left on my own accord. Reach out any time, Dan Salis is a joke.

Edmc is protected. They are not going anywhere until kkr cashes out. They still have students and teachers. They never had ethics and it hasn't been about quality in a decade.

Please post an effective manner in which to make contact. DO NOT post such nonsense unless you are prepared to give up a contact avenue!!!

Anyone who got severance had to sign the document. Still, if any of us were to receive a subpoena or be called to respond to a congressional inquiry, I suspect that we would be able to testify under those circumstances?

Many of us saw things put in place at the corporate level at our schools that were distressing (being told that faculty should be instructed that they had to accept changed grades (from F to passing) when students would otherwise be dropped from graduate programs, giving fully plagiarized work a high grade to keep students in programs, accepting people into graduate programs who were writing at the sixth or seventh grade level, etc.

I hope you're legitimate and get a lot of responses. Employees need to start standing up for themselves. Fear of loss of job can be crippling and that's what EDMC counts on.

If enough employees and students come together, MAYBE at the very least, you'll start being treated with dignity and respect.

I have first hand knowledge that's not the company's method of operation.
