The Glassdoor.com reviews of SG360° is outstanding. I like the we prefer to promote from within comment. With MLS as the CEO and President, we'll fix that! How long will it take for her to bring in her buddies from RRD, Sears, KMart, and Office Max/Office Depot because no one in house is worthy of promotion. Hang on SG360° associates, looks like your life is going to take a turn for the worse! You've got a woman in charge that's so insecure that only her buddies can be trusted. Enjoy!

SS is not confirmed at the moment. He does have some of his direct reports concerned should the rumor be true.

If RG is reading this board,he should get a list of everyone that was let go and replaced with the cronies of the DG GT SS guard. Then he should start contacting all of those associates and beg them to return. The unique knowledge that was lost in the last two years is not easily replaced. Many good associates were let go only for no good reason, only to be supplanted by people who had no idea of the industry they were supposed to support.
It's one thing to be let go if you were awful at your job, or if a position was really eliminated. Being layed off just to be replaced by a Sears KMart or OfficeMax person is just plain wrong - and that's when everything went downhill. But it did get worse. The new team was arrogant and condescending to the remaining Follett associates, and that's the root of the morale issue. It's a lot to fix and who wants to comes into that environment? Letting GT and SS go is a great start. More to go we hope, but call in the experts to help repair the damage.

Great news about SS. Makes sense with the IT failures with OMS, Retalon, eFollett etc. Tenure and results is the same as GT.

Maybe someone should tell RG he needs to hire some people back. Honestly that's the only solution. They need to have people who know the industry. GT drove them out and look what happened. If RG is a true leader he will consider this option.
Changes take text management away from GT's boys and puts a real numbers person over the devasted areas of Wholesale and ADC making GT's hires stand out as clowns against those tenured managers and IMS sales guys hired by the likes of Trauts, Carrs, and the pushed out JL.
Seem to be taking things away from DG. Direct reporting line to RG with latest change.
More promotions to VP today. Home office can't save a dime. Reduce in the field and promote in the HO. Next thing you know there will be more trips to India!!!!!!
