Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Layoffs this quarter?

It seems as some of the dust has settled from last quarter and there are not going to be any more cuts....

It will be drip, drip drip so nobody in the medial will be alerted. Every case will just happen to be a trimming of the fat.

Logically, if Argosy Seattle is on a teach out now, faculty will be released from admissions.

2016 will be a year of closures and teach outs. The massive cuts are always in June. Calm before the storm at best. Sadly, another year where no focus will be placed upon the quality of education being sold.

Maybe they don't have to have a formal layoff since compliance has been tightened to an extreme and corrective active plans are alive and well.

They can use the "system" to get rid of people and be under the radar with the media.
