Chevron currently has 14 open positions listed on their job search. Several of them were just posted on the 7th and are only open for 1 week, which probably means they already have someone for the position but have to post it for legal reasons.

The PDC (Personnel Development Committee) process works in the same Chevron Way fashion. Those jobs are already slated for certain employees who are members of Friends and Family. Posting for the job is necessary, but the fix is in from the very start.
There are about 60 on the main internal job form, a lot are in Makati. The 14 are just within the PDC site. Still, slim pickin's.
The OP hit the nail and the head. These job postings serve only a legal requirement, but you can be assured the positions have already been slated for certain individuals. Like the previous poster said, it's The Chevron Way and if you're not part of the Friends and Family Plan, these jobs are not meant for you.
