That's great! As long as he keeps the frozen cookie dough that we scoop out of a bucket to make our fabulous "baked right here" cookies. Also he needs to be sure our Tuscan tuna salad still tastes like someone took an entire shaker of salt and emptied it into the mix. Who cares about a celebrity chef? It's all in the execution. I remember the time our grill featured a chimichanga that was supposed to have all these wonderful flavor elements from marinated chicken, fresh herbs a mix of perfectly-seasoned vegetables. It came out as a hot mess of salty, greasy glop and customers complained in droves. That's what happens when the labor budget is slashed and the team has to spend hours each day creating and maintaining a perfect-looking display case, stock absurdly large hot bars and salad bars during the lunch/dinner rush and there's like three people trying to serve a crowd of 20 at the counter.

Tien Ho. New global vice president of culinary and hospitality. He will start working January. There is an article that came out... maybe someone will kindly post the link...announcing this new hire and the emphasis on revamping prepared foods in order to revitalize our competitiveness. We are still the main store to go to for natural and organic prepared foods.
