Seemed to be centered around Band 4 and 5 mostly....I know at Beach St there were two Band 5's let go and a couple at Addison also...I know a B5 and a B6 team manager in Jacksonville that got let go also....all in LAS

Approximate amount of associates was 700 across the bank, mostly band 4 or 5, seems they focused on managers with no span of control. I wish them well and hope they land on their feet. The BofA we once knew is no where recognizable.
I'm in the GWIM division and was cut yesterday. Been part of the bank for 15 years and its gotten really bad. guess you can do anything if your 2 big 2 fail.
BAC was not the only company laying people off yesterday, things are not looking good in general for the economy, I am not sure why they keep the public in dark they hide all layoffs from the media - nobody reported about layoffs at CWS yesterday too, nobody reported about BAC layoffs, you have oil and gas companies laying off people every day, you have Morgan Stanley laying off 1000 yesterday on the trading side, nobody is covering this - who are we trying to protect? #jacksonvillelayoffs

Yeah.I knowof Addison mngr got let go.Funny-half of her team is on LOA,so not much needed for her I guess.It sucks cuz its just before the holidays.But Boa dont care.
