Quite a Monday for the 'mergermaniacal team'. FlippinNino Garcia battling Bloomberg inside sources, blaming govt. for not having information on what they need to do. Looks like the AC isn't working in the kitchen. Nothing will happen tomorrow, old HAL hasn't had time to spin their story yet. Mr. Lesar, where are you? How's that deal improving our situation in this market? You have effectively turned your own drilling and mwd services against you. Good luck with getting that group back on your side. It really doesn't matter to me which way the deal goes. It's the families that depend on their jobs and are a paycheck away from being in dire straits that I feel for in this cruel business. All indications are the beuracracy will not be ready till March '16 even if the deal goes through.

Well it looks like the top executive was right. Deserves his high salary. I never would have guessed it. That's why he is where he is and I am trailer trash.

Discarded like a old pair of shoes.powerpoint is the future.

Sad to say. This will be Halliburtons swan song. Thousands layed off. Stock going lower and lower.

Who will be held accountable?

The Executives and Directors can still be sued. I believe fraud charges should be laid. I think an investigation will reveal evidence that for over 6 months they knew the possibility of the merger being approved by Europe, Brazil and Australia was slim.

January is the earliest month that Europe will decide whether to approve the merger. So like no s$#% Sherlock, have you been reading the previous posts?
