U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders unveiled a climate change plan on Monday that seeks to end the country's dependence on oil and gas. Sanders' plan would ban oil and gas lobbyists from Washington D.C and end new fossil fuel lease sales on public lands. Sanders, who calls himself a democratic socialist, calls for a political revolution that takes on the fossil fuel industry and accelerates our transition to clean energy. Once he gets elected as president, say goodbye to the U.S. oil and gas industry.

Bernie Sanders is a joke. His pie in the sky, unicorn fart ideas are completely unrealistic. Unfortunately, too many starry eyed college kids believe his ridiculous ideas and will vote for him. But he won't get the nod, Hillary will, and she's almost as ridiculous as ol' hippie Bernie.
To save oil and gas, vote Republican.
Hitlary will get the dem nomination easily, so no worries about mr I've made six figure salaries all my life at the expense of taxpayers Sanders.
Getting companies and individuals to go Green is fine but try telling that to all the small China workshops churning out all sorts of toxins with no regulations? A buddy of mines had a garden tool manufacturing business all the clean air and safety regulations made it uncompetitive against China imports and he went bust! Secret is to buy from Green minded companies who follow the guidelines you will pay a few $s more but at least you will be doing you're bit. As for Oil & Gas Mr Sanders needs to take a hard look around his home most goods and fittings are manufactured using Oil and Gas or are reliant on there use! I don't see any natural Plastics growing freely? Mr Sanders will have us living like the Amish if he gets his way I don't think his wife will enjoy the dinner party's using wooden bowls and spoons?
