Still a mystery. Who cares if the company cuts the dividend? Endless other companies cutting dividends. Endless other companies with no dividend. I thought the investors were in for the long haul? Perhaps the investors and the management knows something the average employee does not know.

... that was obvious when we were selling assets at $100 oil to met the dividend - it was all okay back then because we were going to grow our way to cover the dividend. It's been obvious for some time now right!
The oi land gas companies would have been better served by a dividend cut to limit the infamous "cash flow negative".
