Yes. It's time for a change. New officers to replace the top tier.
what happen to HAL insiders telling the media that the deal will close by January?
What happen to their high profile lawyer who know how to play hardball with DOJ? This lawyer was gonna force DOJs hand.
It's time for new Officers to run the company.
There will be no deal. Period.
This is exactly what Schlumberger's CEO talked about when HalliBaker merger was announced. Baker Hughes and Halliburton will get distracted by the merger complication. They will consume more resources and efforts to push for the deal. In turn, it will effect negatively on their business. It's a bad deal nevertheless.
How did HAL go from "we ain't gonna agree to no DOJ time extension" to that meek, timid "we'll continue to work with DOJ" mamba pamby drool today? I wonder how long HAL will stick with this effort. My guess is DOJ is just trying to stall HAL into giving up to avoid spending time in court. 13 months gone and who knows how many more of this torture?
Stupid deal to start with.
Bye bye betty
Managers,,,,,your teas out ,, bye
I am afraid there won't be any merger next year, but major layoffs in both companies in Q1. Middle management and upper management it's their turn now. Nearly all entry level employees have gone from both companies.
30th april now...slow water torture !!!!!
You have to wonder when the GE offer expires. And then what?
