I know I know blah blah blah Congress will never approve but remember when Exxon bought Mobil? And look at what chevron has been divesting lately. No assets that had overlap with Exxon. And with the massive staffing cuts... We're being pruned for them.

They can't because I already bought Chevron with my severance check. It was less than expected, but still enough.

That's the point of the post. If they buy us we (employees) are toast
Stop dreaming and get back to work! Exxon might want Chevron for any number of reasons but what makes you so sure that they might need you?

That would be wonderful. ExxonMobil is close to where I live and their management is a whole lot better than the stooges we have.
