That's a 4 and half month extension. I don't think the DOJ has a case inside America. instead of trying to stop the merger, which they would lose regarding American enterprise issues, they are simply delaying.
Halliburton management is slow to take a hint, the merger is not to be.
It's a long wait till April , both companies will be pummeled till then. They will have declare bankruptcy in the end. It is the kiss of death for both companies.
