Anonymous185765 is right. Mr Bean came in from Halliburton around 1997 (+- a year) on the coat tails of his buddy from EVI Oil Tools. His expertise is spreadsheets and charts and graphs. Had no ideal the difference between a lathe or a mill. He is good on presentations and making things look good. Got caught cooking the books to pump up the shop numbers, upper management pulled him out for a couple years. WE had to endure several Pirates and Jackleg mangers who would steal the nickels off of dead men eyes. Mr Bean made his way back in a bit more jaded than before. You can forget about trying to talk to these people, go find a new job. That what all of the good machinist did. This place is good for young people only, (young and dumb). All of the good machinist moved on to other companies. If you are old enough and wise enough to see that there is a problem then make the change because one person will not change this place. It's the management style not just the people you are working for.
The mangers that are running the show are just trying to hold on to their jobs. They will not give in to one cup of sour grapes.
It's the WFT way or the highway, that is the name of the game.
Save yourself a lot of grief, and just suck it up and make a decision to stay or leave.
