This is a perfect opportunity for management. Write off the old editions, then sell them cheap and claim the entire amount as profit. They were mighty proud of it last time.

Copyrights from 2008 and 2004 were good vintage years. They are just reaching their full potential now and they should demand a premium price. Right?
