Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

How will the divestments be purchase?

According to an article awhile back, it stated that the DOJ indicated one company is to purchase all the divestments. The article only included Halliburton divestments, not Baker. So are they just implying Halliburton divestments ? Or does this mean Halliburton and baker divestments combined?

Just means got to sell/divest as a functioning business ie not broken up too much that it couldn't work..baker sells its own as will hall not as one combined ..everything has to be in place before deal will go through ... Whos gonna buy... In this climate?? Also both companys dont even know how to market itself for sale or exactly what there selling ... This deal won't be done this year thats for certain.. Oil industry is stalling world wide befire huge investment ...
