I separated myself from whole foods after only a couple short years. This was the worst company I have ever ever worked for. I worked in the chicago area One terrible team leader after another. One terrible astl after another. I came to work for whole foods because I drank the Kool aid before I worked there and wanted to be a part of it. Never in my life have I been fooled so easily. Just posting to encourage others to get out and see how much happier you will be. Never have experienced such incompetence and mentally unstable people. Whole foods should truly consider drug testing and offering mental health care. It's no wonder the company is falling apart.

Amen. Many of us became convinced that many people at the Regional level were abusing drugs. I'm not talking about pot either. Serious drugs. Obviously I don't have conclusive evidence but let's just say their behavior was classic druggie: condescending, irritable, error-prone, argumentative and rude, a constant stream of lies and misrepresentations, angry outbursts and sarcasm, as well as the "gaslighting" behavior where they throw you under the bus and try to take the focus off their own dysfunctional behavior by making you think YOU'RE the one that's crazy. Once I started comparing notes with my peers at other stores, I realized just how f&^%ed up things were. Drug test their asses now.
I agree 100%, they also work the hard workers to death and the lazy workers get a constant pass.
My current TL is a huge drug addict; he never has ANY emotion nor does he blink when talking to people. It doesn't help that he keeps making things up about what people have said and done.
The place made me a nervous wreck. Now I am on Prozac. Go figure.
