190141, yeah heard that one before from Nokia.
All the guys who invented CDMA are retired, were sold to Ericsson, or are dead or senile. Kind of like Qualcomm itself.
@ Anonymous190141
This asshole is either from HR or SM, too nice words for a company is falling in pieces...go with your bullshit somewhere else.
@ '856: Geez, what a hellhole to work in though. The employees that aren't prejudiced are delusional about their own genius.
Q is untouchable. Guaranteed employment for life. No one can compete with such a massive portfolio of IP and the smartest employees in the world. The interviews are so challenging they never on board people who are not 110% qualified. It is just a matter of time before we get all the respect we are rightfully entitled to. After all we invented cdma and deserve all the windfall profits as nobody can compete with such a hard working and talented team. I am not worried my test engineering management position in QCT at all. Q will never abandon us, we represent the life bllood and future of the company. It is just a matter of time before we start adding headcount so do not make the mistake of, cutting back on productivity, making redneck comments, or burning bridges with your manager and VP.
Qualcomm shall be triumphant in all of its endevours.
anybody who thinks headcount is going to crash 15% is a DOOMSAYER
Where's "Cool Story Bro" Guy?
I swear Qualcomm is the best layoff site to read. Even though I resigned weeks ago I can't stay away from here.
when is that nutty guy going to chime in by saying it's thanks to his chinese director and chinese lead
