Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Looks like a lot of engineers are going to get even more obese over the next few weeks

So, I took my kids trick-or-treating. They spent about 2 hours walking up and down hills, collecting treats throughout the night. When they got home, they had a large pillowcase of treats, from their hard work. They were pretty proud of their loot, not because they actually plan on eating most of the treats, but because they were able to gather about 15 lbs of candy. I'm going take most of into the office today, and dump it it the breakroom. I think most of it will be gone in less than 2 hours. I'd rather have my coworkers pack on that 15 lbs of candy and go diabetic versus my kids. And my kids don't mind, because when I showed them pictures of some of the pictures of my coworkers, they were like "man, I don't want to end up looking like them"....

Happy free candy!

Anonymous190148, IMHO you might want to lay off the Lexapro. For some people, it can actually induce panic attacks and enhance anxiety as well as other adverse reactions - some time after it seems to be working. Better to get off of it.

There weren't that many people trick-o-treating as before. Usually, I go through 2 costco bags, but this year I went through 3/4 of a costco bag. The other bag will be returned. I think my kids did well, because they went to an area near the park. And when I live in Del Mar, there aren't as many homes and kids, so for the few homes that did offer candy, they ended up just unloading most of their jars into my kids' pillowcases. Some nice DWF that just moved in dumped about half of her two bags of candy in my kids pillowcases. She was pretty cute (the woman) said something asked where the wifey was...and I was like (with a big smile) "just the candy missy, just the candy"... Oh, I'm so good to my wife, it's unbelievable.
