Cant judge all salaried employees from a few bad ones. There are ways to make it hard on the bad ones. Dont gripe about it, do something about it

Salary employees did take a 10% pay cut with the furlough days. And they weren't all given a real option as to how to take them. I know at least one group was told that they were only allowed to accumulate up to 2 days at a time.

Hourly should be cut $1 per hour and only 32 hr weeks. Lets all take cuts, right? We are too short handed to have furloughs

People love to say that we should cut salary workers pay, but it's not the same as cutting OT. If you cut OT, you still get paid for what you do, you just work less. Cutting a salary worker's pay is more like cutting hourly wage which means same work less money. Not something you want to do if you plan to keep employees.

Management and other executive positions will not have pay cuts. We must maintain a higher lifestyle and image. It is easier to cut lower level workers.

we are slowing seeing an uptick in business but still slow. just going to take a while in order for us to get back to where we are somewhat busy again but i don't see it in the near future at all. But there is beginning of light at the end of the tunnel i believe.
