since they are depending on $70/bbl in 2017 to meet the cash neutrality goal. Shell is planning on $60/bbl in 2017 and that seems a lot more realistic.

We will know for sure by the 3rd quarter of 2016 if prices will hold (> $55/bbl) coming off high demand or not. If not look for at least another round in the fall.

Of courses, with the asset sales significant people will fall off the CP payroll also though the year and some will likely lose jobs from that activity as the need for their jobs disappear.

There will be further layoffs, but not broad-brush like 2015. Think Deep-water, APLNG and Surmont alumni. Also, since from all indications COP is abandoning new grad development, expect a further cull of lesser experienced personnel.

layoff, reorganize, repeat... it's circular. ConocoPhillips is damaged goods. M/A activity at the point cash flow is better managed (be it positive or negative).
