Career Options needed for CSW Employees

A brief accounting of why CSW is so screwed up: Curtis Brunson’s management style was to encourage hatred, mistrust, backstabbing, twisting and misrepresentation of facts and bullying by his main boys, Larry and Royce. They in turn hired and promoted a management team that would mimic these highly valued traits. Susan then ushered in the gentler era of cronyism, nepotism and elitism. When things started to fall apart with losing major awards, the SAP debacle, unnecessary building, and revolting customers, Val, an old crony, was appointed as a distraction, but knowing nothing about management, he took to tormenting, screwing and firing people he could bully. This coincided with loss of business, layoffs began and the management team of mean spirited ass kissers (cronies) and suck ups went into the self protection mode of doing nothing, so as to not be responsible for any screw ups and looking for people to blame, gaining a group consensus and throwing people under the bus. A gesture greatly appreciated by the New York Corporate goon squad. So “new management” was brought in to fix the division. But given that much of the talent pool was gone, and the management team made up of so many entrenched corrupted jack offs, who were employing a “do nothing” strategy to avoid being responsible for anything. They now strategically spend their days attending worthless meetings, producing meaningless reports, lining up scapegoats and playing on their cell phones. It’s extremely bad; the group appears unsalvageable. So, develop options boys and girls, you’re going to need to change your career path, the host is dying a slow, grim death.

I bet Curtis Brunson also has a picture of himself with Christ. Like Carson, Brunson is one confused man.

Curtis brunson what an ass. A bigger prick doesn't walk the earth. People should have kicked instead of kissed his ass. I hope he is upset. There are still a lot of his stooges hanging around here. A massive heart attack would be too good.

Isn't Curtis Brunson up at corporate now? I guess he has effectively been "demoted" with the arrival of the new President/COO. But if what you (Al) say about him is true, what does that say about the company as a whole?

PS My feet stink.

All the talent has left the company voluntarily. They have better jobs, higher salaries, better benefits, shorter commutes, and work with nicer people. No one cares about L-3 CSW's sinking ship anymore. It's already at the bottom of the sea!

Andy must: 1) Be very cautious and calculated about every move he makes, the inmates will attack viciously if given a chance. He has no friends. Cornered animals will do anything to survive. 2) To succeed, (this will be his most difficult task) he must replace incompetence with competence. With the tangled mess he inherited, this may impossible. The only thing I can think of that could compare in difficulty would be the job of making peace in the Middle East. But at least in the Middle East they have oil and common genetics. CSW employees are so beaten down they only have fear, disappointment and discontent as resources. 3) He must develop career “life lines” in San Diego to jump back to when the corporate goons return wanting more profit then he can get the self serving, suck the budgets dry, do as little as you can staff. Think two letter military contractors using high bandwidth communications systems.

Su, Marquette, Carter, Smith just to name a few of the cronies. High school honies incapable of anything but brushing their hair and applying makeup. Su included.

Are you saying the customers revolted against CS-West, or simply that you found the customers revolting (repugnant, distasteful, icky)?

And how does Andy fit into this paradigm?
