What is the most over the top spending you have seen in your time at whole foods? Think team builds, parties. I know the department heads went on a team build to Hawaii in MW.

TLS at my store went to Chicago from NY. And there were a bunch of other TL groups that would tour our store.
have not had a store holiday party in at least 2 years..........team member happiness bullcrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In MA they flew all of the marketing TLs from the KY and OH stores to DC to interview for the metro position, along with the STLs. This was after the mass layoffs, of course. This isn't the most ridiculous though. If I specify the most ridiculous everyone would know; because this project was unique, cost a shit-ton of money, and had no impact on sales whatsoever because marketing did not sell the story. I will say it happened in MA west.
They cancelled the holiday party because of snow plowing expenses in 2014. They cancelled more than that, given the paltry offerings during TM appreciation week. Argh.
