Cisco's directors had to submit a stack ranking of their employees. First step prior to a lay-off
Cisco is laying off every quarter. Basically it is targeting older people.
Layoffs at the C follow the criteria below:

Age ( 45+ you're in trouble)

Race (If you aren't the same race as your manager, have your resume ready)

Brown Nosing Proficiency

If the above list offends you, please start expanding the org charts from Director downwards. Take a look at the criteria posted and then accept the reality of what C has become.

Cisco is laying off this month, December 2015. I heard that it's a 5% across the board LR.
