Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

I think the CEO needs to revamp Houston's HR!!!!

They are hurting the company by the way they handle the business situations!! If you are putting out there that there is layoffs to be done well get it done!!!

If you know layoffs are possible, you are supposed to be afraid and work even harder. You know, SLB puts a lot into making the workplace "safer" from every risk except the number one problem: Stress. SLB does everything possible to maximize stress in the work place. I see their objective, if I die they only have to make one payment and they know I won't take secrets to any competitor.

The Layoffs Discussion Board is a simple discussion space for all of us who would like to learn more about possibility of job cuts in our company. The workforce reduction process is inherently secretive and companies release little or no details while planning such actions. On the other hand each of us may be greatly impacted these top-secret decisions - hence all anxiety that the worker may experience is such a setup. Enter TheLayoff.com - The purpose of this site is to provide a space for all that would like to discuss possibility, likelihood or impacts or layoffs in their company.

I vote for no layoffs! Just announce that there is no more layoffs... And we can all go about buisiness...

Why worry about something you can't control. It's business not personal. There is life outside the blue wall.
