Some of the laid off employees got their new job in Qualcomm within different departments.

Proof the Jana gang don't know what's going down in SD. If you've worked with the SD organization for a number of years and have good contacts, you might be laid off... but you'll get hired into another organization with a different title. I know of 20-25 people that were let go, but ISO'd into other organizations. QC has laid off nowhere's near 3500-4500 people. They let go temp folks and contract folks who were exhausting their contracts. Aside from that, they downsized outlying locations, but SD is virtually untouched. Good luck Jana - at least Broadcom is paying off for you.

Good news! Company is in recovery mode.
