Funeral question

If a family member died this weekend and the funeral is this week...am I allowed to go to the funeral if I do not have anymore vacation? My aunt passed away this weekend.

It would only be 1 day. She lives in houston. It does not have anything to do with layoffs true. But it is a question about NOV. Thank you guys for your support.

It has to be direct family. Mom, dad, sister, brother, wife and child. Make sure you do not let them know it's your aunt and you will be fine. If it's out of town you get more days
