I pray to the zirp gods everyday, to enable innovative buyback programs. I'd hate for execs to have to rely on organic growth. But actually the US economy is so strong so it makes no sense why the fed is absolutely panicked about raising rates a measly 25 bps after 7 years of unprecedented monetary policy. If u don't buy the "everything is amazing" BTFATH narrative, you are a doomsayer.

And everybody brings the fed into the equation because they are "independent" pushers and enable all the zirp addicts (corps and govt) to behave recklessly. No president wants a market crash on their watch and neither do the omniscient central banks. And certainly not the execs who need to boost rsu valuations. Who turns down free drugs....Print away!!!

The companies have access to cheap money but even more important is the fact that U.S. companies have no need to invest, particularly in U.S.A. when they have the abundance of cheap labor in China ... and hardly any prospects for growth, plus the tax code that enables CEOs to pay capital gains rates on their salaries consisting of stock certificates. Everyone brings the FED into the equation while nobody asks a simple question like who is running the country and what has he done to change anything during the past 7 years?
