Yes, promos happening. No I will not get one. I bet promos are happening so the sr staff and above can get their raises
Yes promotion are there and sadly even at higher levels.
I asked my manager why we doing so, it will mean we will become more heavy weight at top. Once someone is promoted to sr.staff expectations from person are changed and so are his expectations for type of work.
To me it seems no care about anything and all are doing things casually till qcom collapse on its own.
