Insults don't really hurt anyone. It only reveals the kind of people we have - in Qualcomm. To be brutally clear, it will be no more than mere barking. At the end of the day, how we conduct ourselves and the constructive progress we make are the only things that count. Let's put things in perspective, the upper management will not be reading this page, except people like us who are kicked out. It's the only reason why we are here, arn't we? e.g. to mine for useful information. I don't want you guys to waste time here. I have read countless useless comments along with a few really constructive ones here. Ranting is futile. There are some good posts buried among the whiny ones. If this continues to be aunt agony's page, we should be leaving this forum.

OP: "Aunt Agony" columns are merely the the most recent internet iteration of an entertainment that has been popular ever since Dickens' ripped from reality the substance of his "penny dreadfuls." These in turn were the inspiration for the radio "soap operas" of the "modern era." When the concept of television was no longer considered a top secret weapon by the U.S. military, the format was quickly adapted for TV. There it was used primarily to sell Procter & Gamble soap products, Pillsbury flour, and various "female tonics"--most of which were no doubt banned due to their alcohol content. People are predictable. They LIKE the idea that other people are more miserable than they are. Only the advertising sponsors have changed. By the way, many in upper management probably DO read this page: Because there's at least one major class action on their horizon, and they know that their opposition will be scouring the opposition. IF the employees, knew certain information, how can the upper management claim with any credibility that they did not?
There are two purposes for this forum - when it's heated, everyone's attracted, they all want to find useful info, etc. A thread typically gets 2k views in an hour or so. During slow news days such is this one, only a small but dedicated core group frequents the site - if you post something interesting you may get 300 views in total. In a relaxed fashion the core group engages in a casual message exchange often revolving around bashing H1Bs and discussing local real estate trends and patterns. And of course, Cool Bro is with us all the time making everyone even more happy. Do not take this site too seriously - head for Quora or LinkedIn for your daily dose of serious chit-chat. And remember to come back here once things get out of control again. Cheers!

Actually Q should institute a hiring principle based upon how many syllables are in the name, more than 6, then don't hire. Will eliminate all H1's.
