Perhaps they are hoping that most of the people in the UK will get scared and leave anyway and then the redundancy payouts will be minimised. The Egyptian layoffs were scandalous - turn up on a Monday, told to go home! That's what happens when you have no employment rights. They clearly don't care about their staff. My husband has loyally served them for 15 years. It will be interesting to see how they handle things in the UK.

Amsterdam layoffs imminent, especially in CRM and NLS divisions - mostly from RNOW acquisition.
